Skillshare classess teaching author's how to design their own book layout for print and other book design classess.
*Please note, Skillshare has a subscription fee but offers free trials for new users. The same applies for the software used to create the book designs, mainly Adobe InDesign.

About me
After working at a publishing company for a few years, I found that I really enjoyed the meticulous work of laying out a manuscript. It’s one of those tasks that’s simple but oddly satisfying and over time, I genuinely grew to love the process.
That’s what inspired me to start a Skillshare class. At first, it was mainly a way for me to keep the skills fresh as I moved into other areas of work. But I also wanted to help others, especially self-publishing authors who wanted to tackle the design themselves.
From there, I figured, why not offer book cover and layout design services too? Not everyone has the time (or the desire) to do it all themselves, so this felt like a natural next step to support those who might need a bit of extra help.
